PV for All

PVREA has partnered with non-profit GRID Alternatives and the Colorado Energy Office to provide access to solar energy to all PVREA residential members regardless of income level through the PV for All program. Income guidelines vary by county and the number of people in the household. Learn more and apply here. 

Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP)

LEAP is a state-run program that provides energy bill payment assistance. Assistance is available November 1-April 30. To see if you qualify, contact LEAP at 1-866-432-8435 or visit their website.

Weatherization Assistance

PVREA with the Colorado Energy Office offers a free Weatherization Program to low-income residents of Boulder, Larimer and Weld Counties who receive electric service from PVREA. Weatherization is a blanket term for a variety of measures that improve the energy efficiency of your home. This program gives eligible residents the ability to save money on their energy bills by implementing weatherization measures at no cost to them. Energy Outreach Colorado

If you need help with paying your electric bill, Energy Outreach Colorado can help. Visit their website to apply for assistance.

Giving to Energy Outreach Colorado

Poudre Valley REA members can help other members in need by donating to the Energy Outreach Colorado program straight from your electric bill. All donations are given, 100%, to the Energy Outreach program which provides funds to the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) in Larimer, Weld and Boulder Counties. This program helps those in need to pay their home heating bills during the winter months. 

Participate in this voluntary program by indicating the amount you wish to donate at the bottom of your electric bill, by mailing or emailing in this form to Poudre Valley REA or give online here.
