Cooperative Youth Leadership Camp

A fun week of camp at Glen Eden Resort for high school juniors & seniors!

Every July, Poudre Valley REA sponsors three high school students to attend, free of charge, the Cooperative Youth leadership Camp near Steamboat Springs. Join 100 high school students from Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma and Wyoming and learn about democratic, community-oriented principles and have fun! The 2017 camp will be held July 15-20, 2017.

Watch the camp video:

The central theme of the camp experience is to acquaint young people with the democratic, community-oriented principles that are the foundation of every cooperative and to help develop leadership skills by serving on committees that plan camp activities like a banquet, dance, games and daily operations. Presentations and speakers challenge campers to focus on their future goals.
