Georgi Diehl announced her retirement from the PVREA Board. Georgi served in a Weld County position on the PVREA Board for the past 24 years. We are very thankful for Georgi’s service to the cooperative and the surrounding community. “PVREA was extremely fortunate to have such a dedicated and engaged Board member in Georgi. We wish her and her family the very best. She will always be part of the REA family”, stated Jeff Wadsworth, President and CEO.
As outlined in the Bylaws, the Board of Directors will elect a Director to fill the vacancy for the balance of Georgi’s term. To be considered a candidate in the vacancy election by the Board, Weld County members will need to be qualified as outlined in Article 3.00 of the bylaws and as summarized here. Potential candidates will need to complete and submit a Certification of Compliance and a brief statement (500 words maximum) of biography, experience, and why they are interested in serving on the PVREA Board of Directors. These documents must be submitted to David White or Pam Martin at PVREA headquarters no later than noon on June 21, 2018. Electronic submissions may be made to email@example.com.
