Our team has been made aware of an individual posing as a PVREA employee, going door-to-door asking to see a member's bill, & trying to sell solar equipment. This individual claims that they work with PVREA, are there to help reduce a member's bill or even entirely eliminate it through solar production, & request access to the member's home.
PVREA employees will NEVER ask to go into your home unless an appointment has been previously scheduled. Additionally, PVREA employees will have marked vehicles & proper identification showcasing that they are an employee.
While solar panels could be an appropriate addition to your home in certain cases, solar panels will never fully eliminate your bill, as facility charges & fluctuations in solar production exist.
If you are ever unsure of someone to be with your cooperative, call our office, as we'll have records of any scheduled appointments or crews in your area.
We have worked diligently to build trust the trust between our members & our cooperative. Our crews will always be happy to show identification & explain what they're working on or why they need access to the outside of your property. Our goal is to keep our members safe & informed, & continuously be your trusted energy provider.
