Scholarships
13 scholarships are available through
Poudre Valley REA for high school seniors and
college undergraduate students. These scholarships are available for students who have been accepted for admission or are currently attending any U.S. college, university or community college. Ten scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $2,000, one for $1,000 and two for $500.
Applicants must be dependents of parents (or
consumers themselves) who currently receive
electric service from Poudre Valley REA. Previous winners
may reapply if they still qualify.
Applications are reviewed to make sure that 1)
each is complete, 2) the applicant is eligible, 3)
the required documentation has been submitted, and
4) the deadline has been met. If all the
requirements are filled, the winners' names will be
selected by the co-op review board and scholarships will be awarded according to merit in three categories. The award categories are determined by 1) academic excellence, 2) community and scholastic involvement, and 3) financial need.
By
submitting the completed scholarship
application, qualified students will be entered
in all scholarship drawings. Additional information is available at local High School counselors' offices or by calling Mark Daily at PVREA, 970-282-6463.
No applications will be
accepted with a postmark later than the due date.
You may print the application from here and submit it by January 21.
Rocky Mountain Electrical League has a
